Trinity recommended in Legal 500
Published:Trinity International LLP has been recommended for its work by the independently researched leading lawyers guide Legal 500 (UK). Trinity is recommended in three categories: Finance (Emerging Markets) and Projects, Energy and Natural Resources within both Infrastructure and Power sections.
The guide notes that “with a ubiquitous presence on African energy-related infrastructure projects that belies its boutique-level size, Trinity International LLP has ‘in-depth understanding of project finance'”.
Legal 500 goes on to say that Trinity is ‘One of the best firms active in the African continent’ and is ‘outstanding, a real niche firm that has a great grasp of project finance’ and “A market leader for power project financings in Africa”.
All four Trinity partners are rated and the guide states that Paul Biggs, Patrick Leece and Kaushik Ray are ‘hard to beat on Africa projects’. It goes on to state that the “extremely talented'” Simon Norris is ‘an outstanding all-round projects lawyer and a first choice when trying to close a difficult deal in Africa’; that Patrick Leece is ‘one of the best EPC lawyers in the market’; and Kaushik Ray is ‘a great new upcoming partner’.
In addition, partner Simon Norris is listed in the elite “Leading lawyers” list, the Legal 500 United Kingdom 2014’s guide to outstanding lawyers nationwide in the Projects, energy and natural resources – Infrastructure category.
