Rayan is a Counsel at Trinity International AARPI (Trinity Paris), specialising in international arbitration and dispute resolution.

Before joining Trinity, Rayan spent eight years with Shearman & Sterling’s international arbitration team in Paris, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. He has represented multinational corporations and States in arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and CRCICA rules.

Rayan’s practice spans diverse sectors, with a particular focus on mining, oil and gas, construction, and infrastructure projects across the Middle East and Africa. His expertise includes advising on pre-dispute strategies and litigation before State courts.

Admitted to the Beirut Bar, Rayan holds an LL.M. in Business Law from the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) and a Master’s in Arbitration, Litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Lebanese University (French-speaking branch).

Rayan speaks fluently Arabic, English, and French.
