Jérôme Le Berre is a Tax Partner in Trinity International AARPI (Trinity Paris).

Prior to joining Trinity Paris in 2025, Jérôme was a Partner in the Tax group of the Paris office of Dentons. He began his career in 1999 at CMS Francis Lefebvre, where he gained solid experience in international tax law, notably in Paris and Casablanca. He then joined Herbert Smith Freehills in 2001, where he worked for over a decade as Counsel in their Paris Tax group.

Jérôme has over two decades of expertise in the energy and natural resources sectors.

Throughout his career, he has advised international clients on the tax and customs aspects of their investments and projects, particularly in Francophone and Anglophone Africa. He has been involved in major transactions, particularly in the tax structuring of large mining and oil and gas projects.

A significant part of his work is also dedicated to resolving tax disputes, both in pre-litigation and litigation phases.

Jérôme is admitted to the Paris Bar and holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Tax Law from the University of Paris XI/Paris-Sud (now Paris-Saclay) and a Master’s Degree in English and German Languages from the Higher Education Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ISIT). He is a native French speaker and speaks fluent English and German.

Jérôme is a member of the French Institute of Tax Advisors (IACF).

He has also been a Lecturer on the Master’s Degree in International Business Law at the Paris-Saclay University since 2008.
