- Florian Quintard
Florian Quintard is a dual-qualified English solicitor and French avocat. He is a partner in the Paris office of Trinity International. Florian has over 15 years’ experience in international arbitration and dispute resolution. He advises on commercial and investor-state arbitration, with a focus on the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Florian has resolved complex cross-border disputes across the globe and has represented a wide range of clients, from governments to large corporations, in arbitrations under most of the major institutional rules as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. Florian also has a vast experience in pre-arbitration work and dispute avoidance: Florian has advised clients in multi-billion euro advisory work, leading to favourable settlements, including against State entities in North Africa. On top of this, Florian has represented contractors in all phases of classic multi-tier dispute resolution clauses, including dispute boards, mediation, expertise, etc.
Florian’s experience on infrastructure and energy work has led him to represent contractors on some of the most complex construction projects, including the Flamanville EPR, the ITER Project, and the East-West Highway in Algeria.
Florian also accepts nominations as arbitrator and has been appointed as arbitrator by the London Court of International Arbitration on several occasions.
Before joining Trinity in 2025, Florian trained and qualified as a solicitor at Allen & Overy London and Abu Dhabi, before moving to the international arbitration team of White & Case Paris in 2010, where he also qualified as a French Avocat. Florian moved to Pinsent Masons in 2017 where he headed the Paris international arbitration team for four years.
Florian has taught English law at the Ecole Française du Barreau and Arbitration law at Nanterre Université, at the Faculté de Droit de Nancy and at the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies in Strasbourg.
