Augusto Repetto joins Trinity DC Office as Counsel
Published:We are delighted to announce that we have hired Augusto Repetto as Counsel to our DC Office to bolster our Latin America practice. Augusto has 25 years of experience in structuring, negotiating and monitoring limited-recourse project financings across a range of industries. Augusto has significant expertise in the power and energy sectors, with a particular emphasis on generation, transmission and distribution of renewables including solar, wind, geothermal and biomass as well as experience in water/waste, and road and airport infrastructure. Augusto has represented a variety of project parties, including lenders, sponsors, project joint ventures, government agencies and multilateral institutions. Augusto served as in-house counsel with the InterAmerican Development Bank and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (now DFC). Prior to that, Augusto was counsel with Wilmer Hale and most recently has advised clients at his own law firm, Repetto International. Augusto is qualified in New York, the District of Columbia and Buenos Aires, Argentina and holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Argentina and a masters in law from Southern Methodist University. With a team of native Spanish and English speakers and the ability to review transaction documents in Portuguese and French in addition, Trinity International is pleased to be expanding its emerging market footprint across Latin America and the Caribbean. We are able to handle the most complex, billion-dollar syndicated transactions in established regulatory environments, to discrete opportunities in smaller developing markets. We are able to deliver transactions in the region under New York or local law, maintaining close relations with leading law firms in virtually every jurisdiction in the region.
