Represented EBRD and IFC in respect of the Aysa Port Terminal Project Financing.
Baymina Power Project (Turkey):
Represented Ex-Im Bank in connection with the non‑recourse financing of a 760 MW gas‑fired combined cycle power plant in Ankara, Turkey, sponsored by Tractebel (now GDF Suez) and Mimag. The representation has involved significant post-closing work, including equity restructuring and negotiations with the Turkish government.
ENKA Power Projects (Turkey):
Represented Ex-Im Bank in connection with the simultaneous $2 billion limited recourse financing of 1540 MW, 1520 MW and 770 MW gas fired combined cycle power plants developed by InterGen and Enka in Western Turkey. The representation involved significant post-closing work, including multiple equity restructurings and negotiations with the Turkish government.

Acting for the mandated lead arrangers on c.25 to 30 syndicated loans to Turkish financial institutions.
Hydro-power (Turkey):
Acting for AES on the EPC contract for a series of hydro-power generation plants in Turkey.

Acting for Shell as successful bidder in the privatisation of the state-owned refinery (TUPRAS).
Ritz Carlton Istanbul (Turkey):
Represented OPIC as lender in the restructuring of a $55 million project financing of a luxury hotel in Istanbul, Turkey.
Şeker Mortgage Finansman A.Ş. (Turkey):
Represented OPIC in providing a $200 million credit facility to a Turkish mortgage bank to expand the residential housing mortgage market in Turkey.
Star Refinery Project (Turkey):
Acting for the lenders on the split EPC Contracts, bridging agreement and project management contract for the Star Refinery project, Turkey.
Trakya Power Project (Turkey):
Represented Ex-Im Bank and OPIC in connection with the non-recourse financing of a 500 MW gas fired combined cycle power plant developed by Enron in Marmara Ereglisi, Turkey.
